COLUMBIA HEIGHTS EDUCATIONAL CAMPUS CONFERENCING FACILITY





Opened in February 2006, this new four-story, 255,000-square-foot building provides Columbia Heights and the greater District of Columbia communities with convenient access to a modern, high-tech meeting facility. Located at the corner of 16th and Irving Streets at 3101 16 Street, NW, the campus center offers state-of-the-art meeting spaces for up to 800 people on the first floor. The facility also features the latest in audio-visual equipment, on-site parking, network and Internet connections, and more. The second floor contains a full open gymnasium and throughout the building there are classrooms with generous levels of natural light. The conference center is primarily be used for education programs, regular community meetings, staff meetings, and arts performances and gatherings. SCHOOL AUDITORIUM & PERFORMING ARTS THEATRE



In its mission to offer students the most flexible learning environment possible, CHEC makes available the Distance Learning Lab for video conference rooms to the public for long-distance meetings or training sessions. There is also a Language Lab with full Audio Visual equipment. Each of these two Labs seat up to 42 guests.
