CHEC has an immediate opening for a maintenance/custodial supervisor. Must have at least 2 years experience supervising maintenance and custodial workers. Applicants must be comfortable working in a middle and high school environment. Our institution is a professional learning community dedicated to high academic achievement for our students as well as high standards for staff and faculty.

To be considered qualified for this position, candidates must be able to perform the following:

• Supervise all custodial functions (e.g. planning, scheduling, coordinating activities, training, discipline, evaluation) for the purpose of ensuring the department functions in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
• Be punctual and reliable and posses high cleaning standards.
• Participate in cleaning tasks including; restrooms, program space, meeting rooms, offices, and general public areas
• Review facility use requests and assigns custodial duties accordingly for the purpose of providing a clean and safe environment for public use of facilities.
• Review and evaluate custodial grievances and makes recommendations for the purpose of determining the appropriate action/response.
• Recommend policies, procedures, and/or action required for the purpose of providing direction for meeting the district/departmental goals and objectives.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform the job functions.
• Ability to work evening and weekends if required.
• May be required to lift and move heavy objects.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
• Must be friendly and people oriented.
