MCIP is led by an active twenty-three member Board of Directors who serve as officers for its charitable and educational purposes. The charter of MCIP is to: (1) operate as the not-for-profit fundraising arm of Bell Multicultural High School, (2) maintain and raise funds for the programs of CHEC including, but not limited to education, career development, counseling, family and youth support, and multicultural program components, (3) provide scholarship assistance to graduates of Bell, and (4) promote and foster educational and economic opportunity and self-sufficiency for the student population, and (5) promote and foster multicultural education generally.
